I love the mission!!!!

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyy family!!!!!

Thanks for the letters this week. I always love reading them. I miss you guys and I think about you every day! Soooooo crazy Tatum will be coming home soon! I'm so excited for her. Tatum just seems like such a good missionary. I would love for her to be in my zone. lol

Sounds like Wyatt is doing better! That's great, man. Keep fighting. Keep reading those scriptures, man. Everything is gonna work out just how it should! You know if I was at home I'd be chilling with you watching The Office! ha ha If you ever get lonely just know I'm there in spirit! That's crazy that Quincy came over! That shows that he actually does care for the players a lot!

Garrett didn't really write me much, but sounds like he is doing good too! Tell him to write me more! And thanks mom for the letters. You really are a really good writer. I love them!

I'm doing way good! We had a baptism this week and we are going to have another one this week too, so I'm stoked about that! But honestly, like I don't even remember what happened this week. I'm just in the flow, you know? I'm just in beast mode! ha ha

I love the mission. I seriously feel sooo happy right now in my life! Like I was thinking about it and I don't remember the last time I felt mad . . . really I don't think I've been mad once on my mission. I just feel the spirit really strong in my life and I'm loving it! I just want to always feel this sprirt! ALWAYS.

I love you guys! Have another great week!

The Holy Ghost is Real. I Know!

Alright, alright, alright! I'm gonna take some to time to fill everyone in!

Firsts things first, this week I realized that my comp looks just like JACOB FROM TWLIGHT jajajajajaja! Dead serious! it's way funny.

But me and my comp are killing it out here. We are seriously like best friends, which is way cool! But, okay, let me fill you in on everything that;s happening.

So I just barely became zone leader and this week I had my first zone conference and it went great. I was a little nervous at first, but it went great. Also this week we had an interview with our president and it was also great, but this will be my last interview with this president, which is is a little sad. He is a really good president! Umm, also as a zone leader I have to do something called intercambios, which is exchanges with other missionaries from the zone just to learn from other missionaries. Do you guys wanna hear what happened on my first intercambio? jaja Well, let's just say it wasn't pretty jaja I got super sick with the stomach flu and it killed me. I got the DOUBLE DRAGON (where you gotta go to the bathroom and throw up at the same time) We were out in the streets and it hit me hard. I tried to make it back to the house, but I couldn't and I ended up just throwing up in the streets. jajajajaja It was terrible. jaja In front of a bunch of people too! It was bad. But don't worry, I'm feeling better now!

A little about Valpo . . . about a ago there was a huge fire here in Valpo and it took out a lot of the houses here. It has been crazy to see how this fire has impacted this place, and actually yesterday it was the year mark of when this fire happened and the people were celebrating in the streets!

Also I had a really cool experience the other day. I'll just share the short version. We were walking around and we get to this house and there was a man sitting outside. We asked why he was sitting outside and he said that he couldn't get inside because the door was locked and his family was sleeping and couldn't hear him knocking! It was pretty late and we felt bad, so we sat outside and started to get to know this man. I felt impressed to tell him the we are all children of God and because of that he has given us a way that we can talk to him and ask for help through prayer! I told him that if we pray to God and ask him to open the door, he will do it! The door will open! He said okay, and then he asked me to pray. So in my prayer I asked God to open the door.  It  was about 9 o clock and as missionaries we have to be home at 9:30, so we got up after the prayer and knocked the door . . . Nothing. I said to myself, it's okay, we just have to be patient! So we waited and knocked again.  Nothing! So I said to myself again, don't worry, it will open!

But after doing this for 25 minutes I started to get nervous because this man now thought we were crazy. So me and my comp said that we had to stick it out till 9:30 and then we could leave. So when 9:30 came around, we said, "Alright, this is our last time." We knocked the door again, one last time, just praying it would open, and  . . . nothing! I turned to the man and told him that I was sorry, and that I really thought that the door was gonna open, and then I said, "Look, we have to go, but I hope you can get into your house," and right when I stuck my hand out to say goodbye, THE DOOR SWUNG OPEN!  It was a miracle. I looked at my comp in complete shock! I knew in that moment that God was testing us to see if we would stick it out!

Another cool experience I had is when me and my comp were setting everything up for zone conference. We were stressed because we couldn't find the cord that connects the computer and the projector and we had been searching for it for a long time. We just couldn't find it anywhere! So we decided to say a prayer and I'm not kidding, in the prayer I knew exactly where it was. Like God put an image in my head right where it was and right after the prayer I looked where God showed me it was and there it was! It was crazy! The holy ghost is real! I know!

But hey, that's a little bit about what is going on with me right now!

Love you guys!

I don't have any time . . .

How is everything going!? So you guys are in St. George together!! THAT'S SWEET. WE HAD SOME GREAT TIMES THERE! We will have to go when I get back! Sorry, but I don't really have like any time! Being zone leader I have to use a lot of my time on the computer to write forms and stuff so I don't have like any time to write anyone like a full on letter.

Just know that I'm doing great! I feel great. I have my first zone meeting tomorrow! Me and my companion or getting along great! We are having a great time and I am learning a lot! We had a meeting with all the zone leaders this week and that was awesome! But ya, like everything is great! I witnessed a miracle this week! It was crazy! I don't have time to write it this week but next week I will tell you what happened!

I LOVED conference. I got a lot of great stuff out of it! A lot of answer to my questions, and I got a lot of revelation for the family too! But, hey thanks so much for your letters and I'm sorry I just don't have time . . . it's crazy! But I love you, Have an amazing week and know that I'm great.

Hey, Wyatt and Garrett, I love you guys, and hope you guys are doing good! I miss you guys a lot and sorry I don't have a ton of time to write, but thanks for the letters. Keep reading the BOM and praying! Love you guys. Thanks for everything.

Love,

Elder Frampton

Even Bigger Hills!

Heyyyyyyyyyy! WHAT A CRAZY WEEEEEeEKKKKK! I'M IN VALPARAISO!
I GOT TRANSFERRED!!!! AND I'M A ZONE LEADER NOW!?  Ya, I was shocked, but I'm super excited!!!!
Sooo, Tuesday I found out that I was leaving, and that day all the missionaries that were also leaving the Norte got on a bus and we headed off to Vina for the change meetings!
I kinda felt like I was going to leave so I was able to say goodbye to some of my family in the Parte Alta. It was pretty hard to say goodbye to them. It was almost like leaving my family again! I HAD SUCH AN AMAZING TIME THERE! But I'm for sure going back there one day! I felt good because I knew I gave my best there.
So we got on the bus and went to the meeting, and I found out that I was called to VALPARAISO and I'M A ZONA LIDER, which surprised me, and everyone, I think.  I met my new comp and he is awesome. We are getting along great and he is an amazing missionary. He was an assistant, so ya, he is unreal. I'm pumped for this change.

Then I had interchange the day after I got here, with the assistants, so then I went to Vina for a day and it which was cool to learn from the assistants.  Then I came back to Valparaiso, and now I'm here.

It was such a crazy week. . . . I'm doing great . . . I now have less time to write because I have to do lider de zona things ha ha ha, but I love Valparaiso. It's great.

But, guess what? It has even bigger hills than Parte Alta. ha ha ha ha ha ha Parte Alta was just practice for Valpo! I'm serious. ha ha.  It's okay. I'm ready! Bring it on!

Gotta go, but it was a great week. I'm pumped to be here and to be a missionary and to serve the Lord! LESS GO

Good Windows

Holaaaaaaaa! What a great weeeeek! This week was fantástico!   ha ha ha ha Wow, check out my  Spanish! But it really was great. Me and my comp are just in beast mode right now--just loving the mission. We are in complete flow, kinda like Stockton and Malone. Just loving it!

We have changes this Wednesday and I'm almost positive that I'm leaving because I have been in Parte Alta for 6 months! I'm a little sad that these are probably my last couple of days here. I can't tell you guys enough how much this place has changed my life . . . and my legs. Ha ha They are ripped now! No, but really, I love everyone here. These people are like my family. Like I was born here ha ha! I'm going to miss these guys, but it was a great way to end my service here in the Parte Alta with two more amazing baptisms!

This past Sunday we had the baptisms of Misol and Alan! It was such a beautiful service and the spirit was really strong. its a cute story with Alan! He is 9 years old and turns out that he was really afraid of the water, so he wanted to be baptized, but he was scared. Before the baptism he prayed that he wouldn't have fear to enter the water. It was so cute. Then when it came time to enter in the font I'm pretty sure he wanted to go swimming, that's how excited he was! He didn't have any fear! He is so cute. He is like my little bro!

Also with Misol, it was amazing! It was such blessing to able to teach her, but more just to become such good friends! It was really cool, after she got baptized, she bore her testimony and said that when she woke up she was feeling a little  conflicted about her baptism and wasn't sure if it was what she should do. She said that she prayed and asked God if this was the path that she should take in her life and she she said when she came to church that day she received an answer in one of the sacrament talks. She said she knew it was an answer from God! Such a blessing and a miracle!

We went over to her house after to talk with her and she went on to thank us for changing her life. I told her that we didn't do anything, but that it was the work of God. I said we are like the window that he passes through and she said " ustedes son buenas ventanas entonces" which means you guys are good windows then. ha ha! Then she asked when she could go on a mission. SHE WANTS TO GO ON A MISSION! Soo cool! I'm way grateful for the mission!

Also there was a spider in our house that almost ate me this week!

Wyatt, dude--2 Nephi???? So proud dude. That's big time. Keep it up man because I know you'll keep getting more blessings. I really needed a letter like that man. I know that God inspired you to write me that cause it was exactly what I needed! Thanks Wyatt! I keep thinking about you and what Quincy said about how you surprised him and how you never gave up and never backed down! That's what I'm talking about. I loved your letter because I missed a lot of opportunities that I should have taken to spend more time with the family. In the mission I've been so grateful for you guys and I think I took that for granted a little when I was at home! I'm so glad that you have learned that now! Enjoy the time you have with Garrett and mom and dad! I'm excited to get back and spend more time together.

Garrett, thanks for your letter too, bro. I heard that Quincy might be leaving, dude! That's nuts man. But honestly what's most important for you right now is to just get to work! You gotta hit it hard like you have before! It doesn't matter who the coach is. Get to work and have fun, right?

But ya, it was a great week! I love the mission!

Love you guys. Have a great week!

Jesus Christ Really Lives!

March 9th

Holaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Hey, what's going on? Another week bites the dust. ha ha! I had an awesome week. I really have just started to enjoy all the mission and I think it's because I really am trying to focus on real intent. It really just helps me to have motivation and strength in life. It's awesome!!!

I had a really cool experience this week. We met this lady the other day and we started to talk to her and get to know her and she is super sweet. As she started to share her story and everything, she said that we were an answer to her pray and that they day before we met her she had a class with her science teacher and told her that God doesn't exist and she wasn't sure what to think and she started to doubt. She said when we arrived at her house she knew that it was her answer and it was exactly what she needed! How cool is that? She came to church and everything and she is going to be baptized next Sunday!

Also I have been working with a couple and we have been trying to help this progress in church and get married and this week the told us that they have a date to get married!!!!! WOWOWOWOW!

ALSO IT BEEN WAY COOL TO WATCH SOME OF OUR CONVERTS WHO HAVE STARTED SEMINARY! Also, Adi received the priesthood on Sunday. wowowowowow!

My spiritual thought this week is alma 31:31. I love how Alma doesn't ask for the Lord to take away his afflictions, but he asks for strength to overcome them and be patient through them because he knew he needed to suffer to grow. He also knew that in the way we suffer we shall grow. Suffer with patience!

Garrett, I'll never forget everything that you have taught me! I try always try to have the same joy and happiness that you have when I'm interacting with the people of Chile! and your never-back-down attitude that you have! I remember when you had to guard me and TJ in practice and even though I was your oldest brother you never let that get to you and you always fought til the end! Have that attitude in everything that you do, bro! if you not reading the scriptures, read them bro! And don't read them because I'm telling you to, but because you want to know the truth!!! Love you! Keep balling out and helping Wyatt and everyone around you man!

Wyatt, I'm so proud that you are reading your scriptures man and saying your prayers. It's cool that you are already seeing that it really does help. If you can really gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon right now you will avoid a lot problems that others may have! Dude, just want to tell how great of an example you are for me! I think about the man you are for the age that you are and it is amazing, especially living in this world where we have so much temptation! It's really cool to see the way you have handled the things that you have had to face in your life! It's weird to think of life  like this, but be grateful for all the things you have gone you through because it is blessing your life and the lives of many others, including mine! So thanks man! Right now I'm reading in Alma! I love chapter 17 and 26. If you read and learn these chapter you will become the best missionary you can be. Love you Wyatt!

March 16th

Hollllaaaa ¿como estan? Hey, elder framp is back!!!!! Another week in the books out here in Chile!!! It was another awesome week, but crazy how fast the weeks are flying by, am I right? I am going on 7 months in the mission now! I feel like I just started my mission!

This week we attended dos funerales. We found two of the members in our ward had passed, one of them being our next door neighbor, so that was a little sad.  It's so weird because before the mission I never experienced death, but since the mission I feel like everyone is dying, or close to dying. But I know that there is a reason for it. I really have gained a testimony of the plan of salvation, and I'm grateful that I had the chance to help and comfort the families! But still, it was a little sad. I thought of big Framps gramps and Gigi too. But it helped me feel peace that they are okay!

This next Sunday we are going to have 2 baptisms!!!!! I am super pumped for that, especially if this is my last Sunday in Parte Alta! I'm thinking it is because we have change next Wednesday. It would be cool to finish with two more baptisms.

We had a zone conference and this week and for the first time I saw some of my friends from the MTC. It was cool to see how we have all grow up! And I felt like I was back in society again ha ha ha ha!

I think I talked a little bit about Misol, the 16 year old girl and her mom in my last letter, right? These last 2 weeks I've able to teach her and talk with her and in these last two weeks, I've never seen such a change in somebody so fast through Jesus Cristo! I talked with her mom the other day and she was just like crying telling us how grateful she was for us because she thought she had lost Misol, but since we started teaching her and she started going to church and reading The Book of Mormon she is a different person. It's an amazing feeling to see someone change so much through Jesus Christ! I'm excited for her baptism this week!

The Church is true and Jesus Christ really lives!

Land Ho!

I had a great week here in the land of the hills, although I'm not sure what what happened because I've never walked so much in my life. I feel like every single appointment that we had fell through this week so we were left to wander the streets this whole week ha ha ha! I had like seven cramps this week! or should I say FRAMPS lol ha ha ha ha

A few funny things that happened this week. I had a bit of a confusion in my Spanish. So we were knocking doors and we started talking to this lady and she said something about how she lost her dog, but I thought she said she lost her husband because partner and dog are kinda similar in Spanish ha ha So I JUST START BEARING MY TESTIMONY about the Plan of Salvation ha ha ha ha ha and then she starts looking at me all weird and stuff and I realized I was a little lost. My comp was just cracking up!

Also my comp says I'm teaching lessons in Spanish in my sleep ha ha!

ALSO BACKSTREET BOYS ARE IN CHILE! LESSS GOOOO!

Also, we got to spend some time with Enrique, our pirate investigator.

But ya, it was a great week! Right now I'm really trying to do everything I do with a true intention! I've been thinking about this lately and how important it is to have a real intention--like in the mission, I want to really teach the people because I love then and not because I need to have good numbers for president. Or really clean my room because I want to not because I know my mom will be mad if I don't. Or go to school because I want to learn, not because I am required to. I don't know, I have been trying to develop this level of love for everything I do! Do it with real intent!

It's so sad to hear all that happened at Lone Peak this week.  I'm so so happy to hear that Wyatt and Garrett are getting involved in the lives of other people and that they rose to the occasion! We need leaders in the school. Wyatt and Garrett I am proud to be your bro. Always look to help others.  We need more people like Christ today! I love you guys. And mom and dad thanks for everything! Every day I'm more and more grateful for you guys!

Love you guys! Have a great week! Chao!

Lone peak is in my prayers!

Words can't describe . . .

heyyyyyyy, family!!!!!!!!  How are you guys!

Thanks you guys for the letters this week! I loved them all. Dad I loved your letter man! It is sooooo true man! I've been thinking about that a lot--I think about where I am right now and it's crazy because all those basketball championships were cool and stuff but it means nothing to me compared to my mission! I can't tell to guys how much more my mission means to me! Like words can't describe how much what I am doing means to me!!!

Mom thanks for for you letter! I loved the scriptures, I am serious! I am going to share them with the people here! Thank you mom! I am doing great here this week! Tell the twins that I am praying for them this week with State. Tell them to just have fun and remember that it's anyone's game. Whoever wants it more.

Here is my weekly update:

Holllllllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Hey, Elder Frampdaddy is back!!!!!!!!!! Another great week in the mission--just loving all of it! Just soaking it up, baby! It really is the life. I just walk up and down hills all day in the hot sun, but I love it! ha ha ha

CALF UPDATE: FREAKIN' HUGE!

Ha ha ha

I'm doing super good--still training, still District Leader.

woooooowww . . . the place where I'm at right now is playing "We Built this City on Rock and Roll" so I'm going to enjoy this for a sec.

Okay, I'm back!

We had a meeting with all of the District Leaders in he mission in Vina del Mar this week so I finally saw Vina for a sec for the first time in six months. I left here at 2 a.m. Friday and got there at 8 a.m. and then we had the meeting and left at 5 p.m. and then I got back to Parte Alta Saturday at 2 a.m. so it was a great day, but I didn't get to see much of Vina. I'm sure its great though ha ha!

We found a foundation that helps homeless people and the people who run it said we can come share our message with them, so this Tuesday we are going to meet these homeless people! I am soooo pumped! and also WE FOUND A FAMILY! They are absolutely amazing, guys! I love them! There are six of them and they are so ready to accept the gospel!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lessssss goooooo!!!!!!! I'm so excited that one day they will all go to the temple together!

Also we had the 1st stake conference ever in Coquimbo, so that was super cool to be a part of!
I have been thinking a lot about how grateful I am to have a purpose and know my purpose. Like honestly it's just a blessing! Everyday i see people that don't have that purpose the gospel brings us. I am so grateful for that and I think that that is what drives me every day here in the mission. every day when I wake up I think of how blessed I am and it gives me this spirit, this charity, this love for every person that I know and will know that day! I want them to have what I have, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Let the love and the light of Christ drive you every day!

I love you guys!!!

P.S. My comp's girlfriend got her call to Argentina! They are going to get married and speak Spanish and live happily ever after forever together! :) I love my comp and his love story!

Feasting

Hola!!! How is everyone doing? Another great week here in the Parte Alta! YA, I STAYED here for another change so I'll have six months here!!!! How crazy is that? I know, I cant believe it, but I'm way pumped to stay here. I know that I've got work to do here!

Not a lot happened this week! We started off the week with a Zone Conference which was unreal! I really love my zone leaders who are in my district so that was sweet! I can really see that all my leaders have been called by God. I have a some new missionaries in my district and they are super cool! MY SON ALSO STAYED, so ya we are still together, which is great. We are going to have another great transfer together!!

Not a lot happened this week . . . let's see, I visited the pirate ship of ENRIQUE  (MY PIrate) ha ha ha That happened!!!

What else? Ohhh, for one of the lunches that we had this week I ate like half of a watermelon hahaha!

Actually we ate quite a bit this week.

Look how buff my calves are. ha ha ha

Ya, not much happened! OH I'M GOING TO VINA DEL MAR this Friday for a meeting with the district leaders! I'm excited to finally see Vina a little more ha ha

Other than that I'm doing really well! I am having a lot of fun and feeling the spirit and just loving all of the mission!!

I want to share this scripture with you guys! DC 121 7 y 8

Love you guys! have a great week!

Another Great Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whatttttttsssssssssss upppppp!

How is everyone doing? I'm doing super good!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had another great week this week! It's freakin' crazy how fast the weeks go by. It's so weird! Time is flying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok let's see . . . what happened this week? Oh, first things first.  If you guys have been reading my letters you know that my favorite dogs out of all the dogs of Parte Alta are snuggles and cuddles. Obviously they don't have anything on Lulu, my dog at home, but they had PUPPIES. WOAHHHHHHH! Ya, right now I'm trying to think of solid names for them so if you guys have any idea let me know!

And I have a question. Sooo is there a new MAROON 5 song out? I think I heard a new song by them when I was walking in the streets. If there is I need to at least know the name so when I come home I can listen to it!

Oh, I don't know if I told you but I met the first member of Chile, and the crazy thing  is that her husband isn't a member so we started teaching the husband of the first member of the church in Chile. I've never taught someone soooo difficult ha ha ha He is so awesome, but is super closed off to the church. ha ha But we are going to get him!

We also had another Baptism on Sunday! His name is Adi. He reminds me a lot of myself when I was younger. He thinks he;s super funny ha ha ha No, I guess he is more like my little bro! It was a cool baptism!

Also I have a cool story with Elizabeth who was baptized on Sunday also. she shared her testimony in the church and she said that the day we found her, she was locked out of he house and so she was waiting for her sister to come back with the keys. She went on to say that she knew that God sent the missionaries to find her because when she was waiting outside her house is when we found her! So that was way cool to hear! It's amazing how God works!

Funny story. So we were teaching this lady who couldn't hear very well, and so when we ended with a prayer, I said "amen" but she didn't hear it, so like we opened our eyes and she was still in prayer mode and so we wanted to see how long she would be in prayer mode so we waited for a little--probably could've read the Book of Mormon, but we had to go, so finally we yelled "AMEN" again so she could hear it. The funniest part is that she opened her eyes and said it was a great prayer! ha ha ha ha ha I love the mission!

But ya, it was another great week! We have transfers this week so we will see what happens with that! But I love you guys.

Have an amazing week!

The Force

Hola! Elder Frampton here.  How is it going everyone? I miss all of you guys! I hope everything is doing way good at home. I' doing super good here in the Parte Alta with my son! It's crazy that he is growing up so fast and guess what????? WEEE HAD A BAPTISM THIS WEEK AND MY SON GOT TO BAPTISM HER!! YAAAA This was a great Sunday. We had the baptism of Elizabeth and it was amazing, I've never seen a more beautiful sight than seeing my son and Elizabeth in the water together. It was truly amazing. It's weird how that works, like I was so proud and happy to see him progress in his mission. It helps me grow too.  Lessss goooo! It got me excited to be a real dad someday and see my kid's progress in this life like my son is doing in the mission!

It was a great week this week! I had a cool experience the other day. We were supposed to have lunch in a member's house and usually what happens is that when you have lunch with a member you always plan to visit the people that live in the area so we planned our day around this area where the members live, right? But right before lunch they  told us that they couldn't do it and so everything we planned fell through.  We didn't really know what to do so we said a pray and  went to the opposite side of Parte Alta than we had planned, and we found this awesome woman who was so ready to receive the gospel. It was amazing! It was cool to see God's hand in our work.

The only thing that was kinda lame this week is that the USA lost to Chile in soccer hahahhahahaha so all the Chileans gave me a ton of crap hahahahhaha but it was funny!

Oh, funny story. Well more frustrating than funny.  I'm not sure what happened but there are these cats that have started a war with us. These cats live on our neighbor's roof and they have been trying to climb over to our house! THAT AIN'T HAPPENIN' ON MY WATCH so I bought this super soaker and I have been blasting it whenever they try to come in my house! ha ha h aha So that's  kinda fun! Full out war here in Chile.  Missionaries verses cats!

I'm loving the mission! Trying to enjoy all of it every second because it's flying by!

But chao chao from ELDER NINJA TURTLE

 I
